Riccardo Improta was born in Rome in 1965.
He has been active for years in the international photographic background.
He specializes in landscape and travel photography, for which he uses both digital and medium format panoramic film camera, taking care of the post-production by himself.
His photos are appreciated and sold worldwide. In 2010 he received an award from Epson International Photographic Pano Awards.
His recent research project “Wide World” about landscape, to portray the most spectacular natural locations in the planet, is intended to sensitize public opinion on the unavoidable environmental issues.
He loves to spread the word, which he has been doing with passion for the past ten years, through some of the best italian and american academic structures, carrying on workshops on landscape themes himself.
